The Challenge: Implement real time operational management data

With previous experience in the design and build of windfarm catamarans an intelligent remote asset management system was developed to provide real - time management data, including location, track, motion, engine operation and fuel consumption using both GSM and satellite connectivity.

Net benefit, continuous cost reduction methodology in asset management.

The Challenge: Vessel provision

To undertake an ‘ice edge’ scientific programme a suitable vessel was located and contracted to support blue whale research including both observations and bio sample collection.

Net benefit, a unique first time project with new date acquired and within budget.

The Challenge: Eliminate an undersea cable, replace by resilient comms

For an Offshore operator in West Africa, instead of specifying an underseas cable, manufacturing and then laying between two locations some 25kms apart this was substituted by a new and resilient satellite communications system.

The Outcome

Result, saving in time in bringing the offshore field into production and a saving considerable engineering and cable costs. Net benefit, millions of dollars saved.
